Snoopy, the World Famous Author is typing the first lines of his next great story: “It was a dark and stormy night. Suddenly, a shot rang out! A door slammed. The maid screamed…” Snoopy looks at the page for a moment and then tears it out in frustration and puts in a new sheet. But he can't come up with a better idea, and as he stares at the blank page he falls asleep. When he wakes, the blankness of the page has spread everywhere--the whole town has become a blank page!! Pinching himself to make sure he's not dreaming, Snoopy realizes he has to restore the neighborhood and his friends. With Woodstock's help, he rebuilds his doghouse but at suppertime there's a hole in his heart--and his stomach--where the round-headed kid should be!
